"Una Casa Vacía" is one of two original songs I performed at the 2nd Annual International Song Festival of Trujillo, Peru in 1975, where I represented Puerto Rico. This track is a demo recorded in 1976. A few annoying beeps were added to recording to keep it from being pirated.
It was an honor for me to be the original (and probably only) performer of this beautiful song written by two Argentinians who lived in San Juan at the time. Poet Rodolfo Garcia wrote the lyrics. The music, in the style of a Peruvian waltz, is by pianist, arranger and conductor Zito Zelante.
