The idea for this chillout ambient track came from Frederic Remington's horse paintings and Aaron Copland's Hoe-Down. I have always enjoyed listening to Copland's quintessentially American music (Salón Mexico, Appalachian Spring, Rodeo). Seeing an exhibit of Remington's “Night Paintings” several years ago totally captivated me and I have been a total fan ever since.
